Leak Between Body and Firewall

After working on a motor home, some items which fix a motor home also work well on a Model T. Case in point: The space between the body and the firewall on a Model T provides a wonderful crack that allows great amounts of water into the coil box, shorting out the coils and allowing the engine to sputter and pop. The solution is to go to your local RV store and purchase body molding tape. This "tape" is grey in color and is 1/16th of an inch thick and one inch wide. Install one strip where the firewall meets the body and you will not ever have another leak. Another advantage is that this tape does not harden or stick permanently to the paint.
